I am Catherine of Arragon, Henry Viii first wife, and this is a brief recount of his life and mine.

I married Henry’s brother, Arthur, when I was 16 years old in. Six months later he tragically died of a mysterious illness. 8 months later I married Henry and was crowned queen in 1509. Henry VIII was the son of Henry VII.
We had a premature dead baby soon after we were married. We were very disappointed. This didn’t stop us trying and in 1511 I finally gave birth to Prince Henry. But he died 52 days later, oh darn.
I then had another two failed pregnancies but the third child lived for a change (hooray!)

Henry was frustrated at me because of our lack of male heir. He had two affairs but I didn’t want to say anything because he might chop my head off.
